EGT Location..... Pictures anyone ?

O.K., I've just spent the past hour searching on the site for threads and pictures of those with EGT's.....with no luck.

For those that have EGT's, does anyone have pictures of their probe placement ? (I vaguely remember someone had some nice pics of the EGT installation, but darned if I can find those anymore...)

Also try www.dieselmanor.com David has pictures of installs including 7.3 and some 6.0 pics of mine installed in the up-pipe vs. manifold.

Re: EGT Location..... Pictures anyone ?

When drilling is it necessary to take off the exhaust(keeping the metal from the turbo) manifold ?

If yes what is the chance of breaking off a bolt in the head ?

Or just drill the up-pipe and stay out of the manifold.
