Exhaust Temps and Boost?

I have an 04 F250 and was wondering what are normal exhaust temps and boost psi when not towing? Also, last night I was driving home and running about 40 mph and I could feel and hear it kinda staggering or dragging, only for a split second at a time. Anyone have an idea of what this might be. Check my sig for mods. Thanks in advance.

EGT's are usually about 10x the speed without a load. That is with a pipe. Maybe 100F higher with no pipe like you have. So, 60MPH on flat ground would be 700F or so. It also depends on ambient air temp. In summer you will see 100-200F higher, so as much as 900F in the example above (for really hot areas). If you are running higher than that, something is wrong.

Staggering is either your turbo vanes a little stuck (just get it cleaned/serviced) or an injector starting to go. Any white smoke?

no white smoke, I'll try getting it cleaned and serviced. Would the newly installed ram air have anything to do with it???

Check the air sensor setup on the CAI you installed. Lots of times, people who install a new intake mess with the airflow sensor and it doesn't work right. A bad reading will make the engine think more or less air is there than there really is. One test is to return it to stock and see how it runs. If it goes away...you have your answer. Also, unless you are running some big power, the stock intake is all you need. The aftermarket intakes don't help one bit. The rough rule of thumb is 500RWHP. At that point, the stock Donaldson is near its limit. But below that (and you are with just a Banks setup), the Donaldson is fine. Focus on exhaust.
