F-350 DRW, MBRP duals and DIY

I think I'm going to go ahead and upgrade my exhaust to the 4" ss-409 MBRP duals, for my 07 F-350 DRW CC. My question is to anyone who has done this upgrade, how difficult is it? I'm not a mechanic, but I am an electrician, so I'm familiar with tools and working with pipes. I've never done any exhaust work on any vehicle and don't want to get into anything I can't finish. What should I watch out for when taking the old exhaust off, and are any special tools needed?

Thanks

Doug

It's all pretty straight forward except the down pipe. You have you be careful when you disconnect the stock one from the stock turbo. Also, unless you are going to race or pull, don't get a 4" down pipe (DP). They are a pain to install since the space runs out after a 3.5"DP. The stock one is 3". The best setup is the 3.5"DP with the rest being 4". Just make sure about that one point. Duals are nice for the look and a little different sound. You won't get any performance gain at all (over a single 4" pipe).

You can see what it will look like in my pics. I had them installed but watched them do it and it went very smooth...

I did it with some friends help. The previous posts were right, the only hard part was the down pipe. I will say that I have one pipe very close to my spare tire now but I have used it since I installed them and it was fine.
