Anyone using the FS 2500? Curious as to the cost and effectiveness. If it works as good as they say, it seems a no brainer. I drive an 05 F350 King Ranch with K&N cold air intake, Bully Dog 4 Bank, MBRP 4 inch

If you are worried about keeping your oil clean, the first thing that I would recommend is to remove the K&N. There are other cotton gauze type elements/intakes out there that filter MUCH better.
To answer your question...I would recommend doing a little research here before you take the plunge on any certain brand of bypass filter. Scroll down to the bypass filters section. Best of luck....

Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
I always have been a big fan of the stand alone Amsoil BMK-11 unit. I'm very pleased with the Amsoil setup. Here is a pic of my setup: Amsoil Bypass. I actually wound up switching my return to an aftermarket oil filler cap via the Amsoil swivel attachment.

I'm using the FS2500 on my 04 6.0 and so far my only complant was how the return was plumbed. They use a fitting in place of your drain plug. I plan to remedy that though.
My last OA from Blackstone using Delo 15w40 showed silicon at 9ppm the insolubles at .3% and the oil was sheared down to approx. 10w30 with 7500 miles on it. Will see how it looks at 15000.

Hey Hogs. What oil are you running with that long OCI? Schaeffer? How does it shear? Some and then stabilize or not at all? And how do like the billet cap for your oil filter housing? I'm planning to put my Gulfcoast O-1 on when I hit 15k miles.

John,
I'm running Schaeffer's 9000 5W-40 and it does shear down at first, but it does stabilize. Thing is, the Schaeffer's does shear a little bit but not as bad as most oils.
Are you referring to the billet cap where I source my pressure from? If that's what you're talking about, it's great because I don't have to worry with t-ing off at the pressure switch. Actually, if I had to do it over with again I would drill and tap the factory housing. It would work just the same as the billet cap. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.

I have a '06 350 dually and use Schaeffers w/FS2500. I did the conversion at 10,500 miles and the oil is still clean @ 12,500 miles. I had a Amsoil system and was not happy with it, oil looked real dirty all of the time. Go to the FS 2500 website and watch the video,,,,,,,,,SOLD!!

You do realize that the color of oil has nothing to do with how dirty it is don't you? The only way to tell the cleanliness/dirtiness of oil is with a particle count.
Didn't you also state in the past that TP bypass filters were worthless and that TP was made to wipe your butt and not clean oil? Guess what, the FS2500 element is nothing more than a roll of TP....it's just larger in size. Oh yeah, the external transmission bypass filter for the TorqShift is nothing more than a roll of TP....but smaller in size.
By the way, I'm a fan of TP filtration. I guess I should be considering I'm knowledgeable on oil and filtration systems.

I'll put my plug in for a Frantz system. You can't find cheaper replacement media. http://www.wefilterit.com
Frantz is a good filter, no doubt, but as Hogs posted earlier in this thread, if you drive a lot you'll be doing lots of element changes. The Frantz will keep your oil very clean but you need to change it ever 2-3k miles.
