Re: fuel pump question?

If you mean "do you need additives to add to your fuel, or race fuel to make the SCT work well," the answer is definitely "no." If you mean something else, please clarify.

Re: fuel pump question?

No I dont mean additives. i mean a aftermarket fuel pump (lift pump) like fass or air dog im just not sure the factory can flow enough to make everything run right

Re: fuel pump question?

I'm getting ready to install an FASS pump very soon. I read on ATS' website that with my mods I'm close to the limit of the factory fuel system in terms of volume and pressure supply. I'd always planned the FASS anyway though because the elimination of cavitation (air in the fuel), and the added filtering ability is worthwhile from a durability standpoint if nothing else.

Re: fuel pump question?

The stock pump will supply up to about a 190 injector with no problems...after that you need to upgrade....that's what everyone says anyway.
My opinion is that you need to upgrade the pump with any injector upgrade.
For stock sticks...upgrading the fuel lines on the motor...maybe do a flow through system or crossover line and add an adjustable regulator and you'll be fine.
