Had to take the update, now what?

I had been able to stay away from taking the computer update in my 2004 (03 engine) until about a week ago when my fuel injection control module went bad and had to be replaced. I had been running the Edge Attitude tuner since the truck was new which I understand will no longer work with the latest Ford update.

I haven been on the board in a while. Any suggestions on what to run for a tuner now? My priorities have changed and now I use the truck mostly for towing a 10,000 lb toy hauler or without the trailer like everyone else looking for good mileage. My mods are in my signature.

Who says the Edge Attitude won't work now? If not, can Edge update it?

I was told that the ford update to the computer used a different strategy than the original programming that came on the 2003/early 2004 engines. Something about how it no longer uses the exhaust back pressure sensor to adjust boost.

I called Edge in Utah and asked about an upgrade and they said my Edge Juice with Attitude cant be upgraded for the later ford programming. The guy suggested I sell what I have and buy their $600 module. I asked for a discount because I got screwed by an update that they cant support and they said they cant do anything on the price. Because of that I wont by another edge product.

As I understand it, it only effected the 2003 early 2004 models.
