have 4-5 thousand to spend!!!

i have about 4-5 thousand dollars to spend on my truck for reliabilty and performance..including labor. i have a bullydog tuner on the truck but it broke and is now stuck on the tow tune. had a guy try replace an injector for me and made the problem worse. at first it just sputtered until it warmed up and now it blows blue smoke and u can here the turbo more then normal.. i also at times can feel the transmission slip when the tranny get hot from having fun wit power.
my question is what are the upgrades i should do to my truck for more reliabilty and performance..

i wouldnt use diesel power to guide you. if it were me i would get the tranny issues figured out asap. next i would get the truck operating properly as dumping money into a broke truck with out fixing problems will be a real waste of time. if you want longivity then what you need to do is a coolant filter, remote oil cooler, ccv mod. if you are looking for power then you want to get a proper tuner (sct or spartan phalanx) any box tuner will not be able to compensate for larger injectors and turbos later down the road. given the issues that you stated you are probably looking at 4-5 grand to fix the exisitng problems. there are alot of good articles on what color smoke and what is the cause if you search. i know the power bug is bad but adding power to a broke truck is a expensive lesson
