I just got rid of my 99' 7.3L PS and got a 04' 6.0L PS. I was wondering if anyone has real dyno specs on the 4" Exhaust w/ 3.5" downpipe? Is there a performance difference or is just a way to waste money. I don't want to chip this truck I want it stock I pull very heavy trailers 11k to 17k and am just wondering if the bigger exhaust is really helpful.

There is a claim of hp increase and tq from most of the companies, my concern was a drop in egt's to make it easier on the motor/turbo and maybe even a slight increase in mpg's especially when towing. I went with the 4" turbo back and got a tad better fuel economy. No real noticable power increase, a tiny bit of less lag. Performance was not my goal it has more than enough power. I want long life and will do add ons appropriately to give me that. I will see next month when I tow a 500 miler with my daughters belongings.

Since you pull heavy, do the exhaust it will lower the EGTs overall.
