If you have someone on the side to do it expect between 1500-2500. Dealer expect close to 5000

So what are you saying. While my truck is still under warranty I should drive it as to try to blow my head gasket. Because that is the only way i could affford to have it replaced.

I found a local guy that is doing them for $900 including the ARP head studs.

I drop the truck off tomorrow.

He's taking off the cab. I'm supplying the ARP head studs.

He's doing the labor for that price. + fixing my ICP sensor and replacing my fuel pump.

This is the head diesel tech at a local ford dealership. He's doing this as side work for me since they are slow right now.

Im looking to do studs too, luckily one of my best friends is a diesel tech at ford, so ill get them in for cheap. I just have to save up for the studs now.
