Well I got my tunes in sat morning I had the tow/street/xtreme street and I put the street on for a few days I liked it but I decided to run the xtreme tonight and I gotta say this tune actually puts the street to shame it shifted like a stock truck has plenty of power and when you get in it the thing takes off like a rocket. Gotta say the xtreme street feels more docile while crusing than the street did for me. Highly recommended.

well at low speeds when you put it to the floor a little but it hits pretty quick. If you ease into it the power is right there always. I was just suprised at how the truck felt much smoother with the xtreme street than the street

We never could get street to work for my truck. Something about it being a "recall" truck. Anyway, it had two scenarios in the Street tune: Accelerate VERY slowly or haul arse. Never could get it to just accelerate smoothly.
thats exactly how mine was.. but after a few days the truck and tranny started gettin used to it but hey I love this xtreme street cause its all smooth and fast as hell

i recall reading that it takes a few (how many is a few?) wide open throttle runs for the computer and transmission to "learn" how to best behave. seems like i read that about several of the banks products and other modules too, now that i think about it second. I wonder if that's why after a few days, your truck started to behave more like normal.
yeah thats it. over time the computer ges used to the new tune and your driving habits. either way the actual power is smoother in xtreme i guess thats why those tunes are a little more they are worth it.

I too just installed mine over the weekend. I got Xtreme street/tow/economy. The xtreme street makes it like driving a whole different truck. I will disagree with one thing you said... it definitely doesn't shift like a stock truck... Its almost ridiculous the surge it has while shifting even when easing on the throttle, it really shines when you hammer down though... puff of black smoke, then it takes off like a cannon. It will chirp the tires hard when shifting into second gear... Be careful in wet conditions however, my truck broke loose while I was cruising over 60+mph when I got on the gas... and I didn't even go full throttle. It is so much more fun to drive now... filling up cars next to me with diesel smoke and being able to out run nearly every car you line up with at the light.... awesome!
Hm thats kidna strange I feel that my truck Shifts very well with the xtreme I will have to take it out later maybe I was to busy watchign the speedo to tell a difference. Either way I highly recommend it. Nopi nationals are coming to atlanta motor speedway this weekend so I will be out riding around eating some rice.

do either of you with the extreme street tune know if the psi generated exceeds the recommendations by international for the 6.0?
maybe someone from innovative diesel can chime in on this one.
i'm really interested in using the same combination of tunes, but don't want to begin experiencing puking or blown head gaskets.
Well im gonna leave this one up to innovative diesel. but when i asked i was told they keep every thing well in the limitations of the engine. I think all of the reputable tuners arent gonna make street tunes that blow trucks up no one would buy from them once word got around. I was worried at first and after talking to ted and eric at innovative they eased my mind a good bit.

ID told me that with the tunes I could see 35 PSI, and to be honest for the little bit I could actually peel my eyes from the road cause everything was going by so fast, it looked as if I was boosting below the stock tune, the one or two times I looked it, it didn't go above 20psi, maybe it is and I'm just not catching it... stock it regularly ran into 24ish psi.
Also I like the way my transmission shifts, nice and firm, has great grab, I wasn't complaining about the shifting, I was just saying that you should notice it shifting much more firm than stock, especially when you're just lightly cruising, it almost surges on shifts. I like it A LOT!
I did finally get it into the economy tune today (it rained all day so xtreme street is useless anyways) and its sloooow hahahaha. I guess thats a good thing. I'll see how long I can hold out before I put her back into xtreme mode....

Yea I drove it again today on xtreme and you are right it does shift firm but I like that it feels way better than stock to me. And yes xtreme is useless in wet weather it rained 3 hours ago and the roads were damp and the truck broke 35's loose at 45 mph
