Re: Installed DPPI cat-back system

question for mark, how much power does the cat back set up make, how much power does the turbo back make? Can i get the cat back and then get the turbo to the cat back system at a different time. I am a little limited on money right now.

Re: Installed DPPI cat-back system

ipkyss,

The difference is approx 5 hp and 10 pounds of torque with a run of the mill average 6.0. The real difference is in sound and dropping egt's. I'm sure you noitce I'm a bit vague on the hp/egt amounts, it's not to hide it from you but in the last 3 months I have found a monster vairance between the 6.0 trucks output. Stock, modified, with exhust or without etc. So I want to shoot you real numbers, the only way to really do it is give you the low end of the scale, if you have average or below average truck you got what you paid for, if yours is a strong one you got more than promised and I have never had a customer complain about getting more for their money's worth etc.
I would suggest you send GeorgeC. a private e mail as he has played with all the vaibles on his truck and "doesn't have a dog in the fight" and will give you his previous experience. He sort of bashful so you might have to pry it out of him though, ha ha!!! Wait tillyou talk with him, he's a lot of fun!

We haven't been able to keep up with normal inventory production of the 6.0 systems as of yet, so getting the down pipe and intermediate pipes would be a problem at present, in the furure we might be able to do that. In reality all you would be e-using would be the muffler and tail pipe everything else has to change so the savings isn't as great as you might think anyway when you add up hangers, pipes down pipe etc etc. Call us at 866-455-7788 if you have any questions etc we'll be glad to help you out.
