I'll settle for you naming just ONE other than ours. do it with a 6.0 keeping the "safe tuning with the stock egr in place and tty bolts. that would be impressive. how about a 6.4 with a dpf running 8 sec quaters. they took a light weight truck and ran a 8 sec quater. I can only assume from this statement that you have absolutely no idea how hard it is to make a sub 8 second run. (please keep in mind that this is a 1/4 mile run not a 1/8th) there are alot of guys running 10's in street legal daily drivent trucks. And you think it's easy to go 3 seconds faster? heck spartan has gotten a 7000#+ ford 6.4 into the 11 sec range. and that truck could pull your s10 and the trailer it rode in on home. im glad you have a new product. most of your products that have tuning involved are not as good as other offereings. Please feel free to re-re-re-read what this system does (again) i will give you credit that some not all but some of your hard parts are good and are worth the money. i wouldnt hesistate one bit to run a banks technicooler with the larger ic tubes. as for the tuning i just dont see you beating idp, spartan or rcd with your tuning or tuning devices for fords. Because they give YOU more control over the tuning or is it just because it has the Banks name on it? Or did you just miss the part wher I stated that we're going to give YOU THE USER control over your tuning? they know their stuff and have done alot for the 6.0 and 6.4 crop. where i think you may have a great market is with the dodge crowd. they have alot of issues with tuning that are not a prevelant with the powerstroke and the duramax.
So what you're saying here is that it's "so easy a caveman" can run sub 8's in the quarter and, without knowing anything about our new system at all, you think all others are better just because the Banks name is on it? got it

On edit: Here's the top 3 fastest D-maxs in the country:
1.Banks Rail 7.17 @ 181.08
2.Banks Sidewinder Type-D 7.72 @ 179
3.Dirtymax 9.44 @ 139.81

The standalone system isn't out so I don't have a firm number yet. It will most likley run around the $100 more mark.

I know you can see my post history -.-.

Still seems that the module has alot of functions that I know I will never use, and the majority of the people on this forum will never use (nitrous, propane, methanol), the truth is, very few people on this forum actually own their truck just to race it around on the drag strip. I cant picture anyone towing a trailer or driving around the farm with Nitrous!

As for the actual tuning, most people tuning dont have a clue about what paremeters they should be modifying, I know I wouldnt. Id rather have someone like eric at innovative tune my truck, I think that it just plain sucks that you still dont have any tuning devices that can be custom tuned by other people. What kind of parameters would we be able to modify within a baseline tuning? I mean besides shift firmness/shift points and that kind of thing? With the GPS does that mean, that it would update itself automatically when you plugged it into the computer?

As for me taking shots at you, that wasnt the intent, Im just being honest, in my experience I havent seen a truck with banks tuning that could compete with even the tuning offered by Edge. And yes I am fully aware that none of these trucks had your new Iq module. But what is going to be different about these baseline tunings? Or will the baseline tunings be the same, with the expectation that the user will modify them? Glad to see someone has finally thought to combine GPS into it, as its annoying to have more than one screen on the dash.

Dr performance rig has seen the 7's and consistantly runs 8's.... Why do you have banks race trucks that are duramaxes and cummins but not a ford? sure a race truck that runs 7's is impressive. Sure not everyone can do it. Are you however saying that a street legal truck running 10-12 second passes is not impressive? Trucks that typically weigh in at twice the race weight of you s10? The s10 is not a relistic truck that most will ever use own or build. The spartan and sct trucks are a lot closer to what the average joe would potentially buy. But comparing your success in a different motor such as the dmax and claiming great things for the powerstroke because of it is obsurd. The only thing common is the relitive size and that both use vgt turbos stock. They are drastically different in tuning, and design. Which you should know.
