muffler

Can i remove just he muffler and put a straight pipe in for now and will that void the warranty
Who has the best high flow cat?

Removing the muffler won't cause you any problems at the dealer, but might if you have a local noise ordinance. Most just leave the dealer cat on & go cat back. Some go turbo back with the dealer cat, and some delete the cat (illegally). If you go turbo back, the 4" down pipe can be a bit of a ***** to get in, but it can be done.

You don't have your truck in the signature, so depending on its MY, you may not have much warranty left.

Go with a good 4" cat back & you'll have no problems.

You won't have any problems if you remove the muffler, just noise pollution I guess. OMCUSNR is right just go with a good 4" cat back & you'll have no problems.

Youll run into less problems running no cat than a modified cat actually. I believe it is a greater federal offense to modify emissions equipment than to remove that emissions equipment. Im sure someone will correct me if I am wrong though.

What about the state inspection. If the cat was removed, would it pass? Would the mpgs go up some if you leave the cat on but take the muff of?
