You may want to conduct a little research before you install any exhaust brake on your new truck. Not a good idea, espicially with warranty coverage.

Re: NEED ADVICE!!! upgrades on 05 6.0 f-250

agree about NOT doing an ex brake on a 6.0 - can't/shouldn't be done....
with the lift and larger tires, u will need a tuner to get back your Oomph you will lose from the higher unsprung weight and effective gear change....
but recommend a free flowing exhaust before that...

Did you say Money was no object ????
if so, have I got some ideas for you !!!!

If you're one of the few that money IS a consideration....
consider a big flow thru replacement muffler as the cheapest exhaust alternative that still works well...
but a turbo-back will give you the most bang for the buck...
(and you can even leave the cat in like I and many others did....)

I have a tuner that has worked fine for 2 years, but the SCT's new features are starting to win me over....

good luck....
and if ya need help spending your money, I got a few ideas for MY truck

Re: NEED ADVICE!!! upgrades on 05 6.0 f-250

I heard today that you cannot use a cat delete pipe in a 2005 truck with the mbrp exhaust or any exhaust for that matter because the truck will run in "limp" mode. Someone please tell me that this info is wrong because i would love to straight pipe my 2005.
