Need help with Upgrades.......

Hello everyone new to the forums here.....

I just purchased an 03 F250 with 41K on the clock.
I live in Colorado at about 7K above sea level.
I have looked at the Banks kits both the Six Gun kit and the Big Hoss with the added intercooler.
I am very new to the diesel scene and would like to keep my warranty. When I called Banks they told me and said I would get it in writting that none of there bolt on packages will void a warranty and if the dealer gives me grief to call them and they would have a representative call the dealer.

Is there any other company that can offer this kinda of support?

I am looking for about 400rwhp and 700lbft at the wheels.

Please let me know what you all think....Thanks in advance.....

Re: Need help with Upgrades.......

I wouldnt worry too much about what aftermarket parts manufacterers say about warrenties. Ask your dealer and get it in writting from them, dealers find ways of voiding your warrenty no matter what parts you put on. Go with SCT tuner.

you won't need an "installer". this is something you can do on your own. once you receive the xcal2 you plug it up and pull your strategy. then send that strategy to a tuner of your choice and they will write you a custom file and email it to you. The tuner of your choice will send detailed instructions.

Re: Need help with Upgrades.......

The only thing Banks will offer you in writing is a copy of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, and claim protection under it for you and them.
