Oil Pressure Gauge Pickup location?

Hi,

I'd like to know where/how you all are tapping in to install an aftermarket/real oil pressure gauge.

Also; where/how is the factory/ecm picking its signal up?

Thanks!

The oil temp sending unit is next to the oil filter towards the passenger side, mounting downwards. You can possibly make a T there, or just get a billet oil cap that has the fitting on it.

small square head plug at the drivers side rear of the block. It a port that "looks" at the main bearing . very accurate.

I have an oil temp gage plugged into the port at the oil filter housing, and used the block location for the pressure sender. it plugged right in no adaptor needed.

This is the 6.0L engine forum.
mblgjr and horses2; are you guys refering to the same engines? I can't determine which engine mblgjr has. Looks like horses2 has a 7.3L.
