rev limiter

does anyone know if you can remove or change the rev limiter on a 2004 f350 6.0 powerstroke, without spending a lot of money on it i all ready have the edge performance chip in it and a 4.5" exhaust, but when i do truck pulls it kicks off at 3000 rpms. i heard that there is a wire that you can pull but ppl arent sure which one it is.
please help me i have another pull on sept 2nd

not sure about this wire deal but a superchip tuner will rasie your rpms up to about 3900 when usinf the highest setting

SC doesn't do anything with the rev limiter. It's just making more power up in that range.

Again, at 3000 RPM you aren't hitting the rev limiter. I think it's your Edge. I haven't checked your other thread on this to see if you answered the EGT qustion. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]
