SCT Tuner Guys??

Just got an SCT tuner with custom tunes from Innovative. I wanted to know first before I plug it in the port, do I need to do anything to save the stock program, or does it do it itself? If I need to save it, then how?? I have the X3.
Also, how do I return it to stock? And when I do, if I have to go to the dealer for repair,I heard they have a way to tell if a programmer was used, even though the truck is returned to the stock program,is that true??

The SCT will automatically store your stock program when you choose one of your custom tunes. Then when you plug it in at a later time to change tunes you will have the option to "return to stock" which reloads your stock tune back into the truck.

There has been alot of debate on whether or not the dealer can tell if you ran a tuner.

...and AFTER you return it to stock, you must disconnect BOTH batteries for about 5 minutes and turn the headlights on.
You need to completely discharge the capacitors that can store the evidence of the reprogramming.
Its a good idea to keep the tuner in the truck, so if something happens when you're far from home, you can still return the truck to stock.

The SCT with Innovatives tunes is an awesome improvement over stock.
You'll be pleased!
