so nobody recomends programmers

simple question, will the upgrades discribed in my other post fry my motor or not. Every body runs them but also talks bad about them.

Re: so nobody recomends programmers

The only major dislike I have is to not be able to switch on the fly.

Other post? If you already have a post regarding this, why start a new one that a reader has to search for and read before they can reply to this one? Re: so nobody recomends programmers

The predator works really well, shifts awesome, runs a little hot. I think it runs hot because, theres too much timining advance. Im going to try it with a snow performance water injection. Hope this helps Jerry

Agree... I run the mine on the 60hp mode with great MPG gains and no worries about motor damage.

Re: so nobody recommends programmers

read this post about programmers leaving codes for FMC to pickup and deny your warranty.

It's not too much advance. If the egt's are too hot due to a timing problem, it's a lack of advance. Retarding the main fuel event will result in higher temps, lower NOx, more smoke. Advancing will do the opposite. I have a feeling it's just the extra fuel.
