Speedo and 35" tires - Diesel Forum

Has anyone tried to have Ford calibrate there speedo after installing 35" tires? I was told it can't be done. Any help or advise would be welcomed.

You can get it damn close if not right on.

Ford can reprogram all the way up to 315's (35s) it works great and only cost $60. If your dealer say's he can't do it then ask him how they recalibrated the trucks they had lifted under there so called "Ford Motor Sports" program. There is usually a couple of them sitting on their lot.

Go to your dealer and tell him you want your speedo reset and the code to put in is 598(revolutions per mile)and they can take care of it. I just had it done and they even went out and checked it and didnt even charge me! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif[/img]
