Re: super chip problem

What else does the tuner show you?

The dealer flashed it, now the tuner needs to go back to SC to be updated. SC needs the numbers the tuner captured to update it.

Re: super chip problem

Thats them. That shows them whether they have updates for it yet. If they don't, they can use your tuner to build the new update. Thay did that with mine last year when I got a new flash that was only a few days out of the box from Ford that SC hadn't seen yet.

They'll give you an RMA # and you'll ship it back and they'll update it. It's free if you have POP (proof of purchase) from an authorized SC dealer which you have to send in with it.

Here's a tip. They charge you for the shipping back to you. Somehting like $10 or $15 to ship UPS. What I do is print off prepaid USPS labels using "Click and Ship" so priority (2-3 day) postal shipping only costs me about $4-$5 each way with insurance. I tape the prepaid return shipping label on the tuner box and leave note asking them to use that to ship it back. Appearently not many do that but they can and will do it for you. It saves you money and time, and saves them hassle and time.
