Swaping out PCM's and FICM

Hey guys I was wondering if its possible to swap PCMs and FICM in my truck to get away from the problem with warranty work. And as most of you guys are thinking that "if you play be prepared to pay!" I agree 100% but the only thing im looking at is that ford knows these trucks have a h/g problem and thats the only thing I want them to have to fix when the time comes to replace them and throw on so studs. If I blow the motor at the track running ID's xtreme race tune thats my problem. If I blow a H/G on the street then I think ford should step up.

Anyhow, I have a line on a PCM and a FICM from a friend at a salvage yard just wondering what I would have to do to get these to work in my truck and still beable to swap back to my stock stuff?

Let's see... you could damage something using the extreme race tune and it might not fail until later...

The minute you try to hide stuff, it will start looking like you are trying to hide stuff - and people will take notice....

Yes it could fail later and thats also why I only run ID street tune (not the xtreme street) and there tow tune. I was using the going to the track as an example. The only mods I've done to my truck was to get rid of that horrible lag, pick up some mileage and to pick up alil more power while towing. So does that mean I should be blamed?
