Re: Tuner

your right on that one it is so nice but theres only 1 problem with mine. I have to get the extreme code from the dealer other wise it is nice. My mickey thompson baja claws 35' inch, i can burn off them easily and thats all i have in it. Go with the sct in my opinion its better then the edge tuner.

Re: Tuner

The 03's seemed to be the most problematic, but I think the wrinkles have been pretty much ironed out.
I have had zero problems with my 04, with the exception of a couple of recall/repairs. No big deal.
I'm also running the SCT and OMG does it kick butt. I went with the street tune as my hottest tune and damn, a truck this big shouldn't move like this. Can't even imagine what the extreme file is like.
Shifts are way better than stock too.

I keep seeing people say that but for some reason I sure can't do it, unless folks are power-braking or something other than rolling on the throttle. Of course I am stilll awaiting my corrected sct files so when I get them maybe it will be a different story but for now, I sit waiting.

Re: Tuner

okwelder82,

We have sold a lot of the Bully Dogs on the 2003's without any issues, or getteh Edge Juice/Attitude Platinum. Either will get you all the trans features and performance you need etc, the Edge also has the turb o timer feature that is real beneficial. Call us if you have any questions we'll be glad to help.

Power Braking, even slightly. Although, standing on it from idle in some case will brake mine loose, but nothing like holding for a little boost first.
