Tuner/electrical issue??

Hello all,
I had a strange issue the other day when I started driving my truck ('03 6.0psd see sig). First I'll let you know that it was quite cold ~-10C in the morning so I went out and started the truck at around 6am, 10 minutes or so before I headed out for a morning hunt. Everything fired up ok even though I didnt plug her in, but I made sure to warm it up a bit before leaving. About 5 minutes into my drive, before my temps had fully reached normal operating temp (tranny temp was about 90degrees F, coolant ~140F, oil ~120F), the glow plug light flashed on momentarily, and I had a momentary loss of power to the truck. Also, my edge evolution display froze...I usually use it to monitor oil, coolant, tranny, and exhaust temps. I have a backup analog egt guage and boost, and they one still worked fine, and other than the momentary loss of power, the truck seemed to work fine. I pulled over and shut the engine off, fired it back up and all was ok, the chip reset and warning light never came back. Later that day when driving around everything was working perfectly. The next morning the exact same situation happened... glow plug light flashed, momentary loss of power, frozen chip display, but again all was fine after shutting down and starting it back up. About 3 months ago my truck threw a code "low battery voltage" or something like that. I cleared it and all was ok since. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the current problem or not. Anybody have any idea what might have caused this?? I just rolled over 100k miles last week without ever having a problem. Run the tuner on extreme power all the time besides when towing. I've also noticed a slight whine when coming onto the throttle the past few weeks. Possibly associated with the colder weather? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

I live in Florida so i dont have weather issues, but i do know that colder weather makes these trucks do weird stuff... Your problems might even be a result of your chip... if i were you i would take it out and drive a week or so to see if anything bad happens... sorry i cant be of much help...
