also the veins on the 6.0 turbo are notorious for sticking if you know a friend with the right scanner they can check it for you if not, if it is still under 100,000 mile warrenty take it to a dealer,they can check it for you also ask them aboust the newest updat they have if turbo is ok the new update should help you out.I gotta good friend that is a ford master tech i called him and he said the biggest thing about the new update is with the ficm (helps save the injectors)but as long as you have no major deffects with something else this update should fix your problem

fixed it my self ARP headstuds, EGR blockoff plate and guess what (no more problem !!!)

Ya it is under factory ford powertrain 100,000 mile,the only thing is it has the edge on it so im worried they will see its been installed.its no big deal to take it out and plug the egt probe hole...hope they dont see the plug!!Can ford see that the tuner has been on it?I have a appointment the 1st of october,Its the first time i have had it in the shop,so i hope there mod friendly. Also geogia D i see u have the head studs and u did them your self did u pull the cab or?

yes it will through a code KAM. My friend said to unhook batterys for 15 min or if you have access to a scanner you can clear it this way. As fpr the head studs yes I pulled the cab. It not really that bad of a job.it took us about 18 or 19 hours actuall working time.I have done a number of them since at our shop

I have a cornwell scanner so before i take it in for service i will clears the KAM code...Thanks thats goog to know.Do u know what the book calls for time wise on the head gasket..cab removal?One more thing it seems like my truck runs best about 3/4 throttle....if you go wot on the race setting it seems to kinda flutter not pull steady.

i dont remember what the book calls for ,I pulled the cab when i did the headstuds me and a friend I think it took us about 20 working hours. not really that bad of a job.as for the tuner,dont get mad when i say this but throw it a way canned tuners are no good in my opinion(opinions are like buttholes everybody has one) if you want a jam up tuner go sct and call eric innovative. PM me and i can help you more with this,not i problem it is what we do. Custom service is # 1
