Water injection will work fine for lowering EGT's.

Water/Methanol will also work fine, as long as you run a light mix and use custom tuning with lower timing.

The problems start when you run high timing and heavy mixtures of methanol.

The mixture really depends on the program you run.

If you're running a stock truck you're not going to see a lowering of EGTs that would justify the expense of a water/meth system. The stock IC does the job perfectly fine.

Adding methanol is going INCREASE power. In stock configuration, that is a bad idea. I think it makes much more sense to stud your engine before adding a water/meth system.
