Water/Meth, Propane, N20, which one(s)

So I got the Water/Meth Setup and i was looking into Propane or N20..

But i heard you only want 2 of the 3 and I just wanted to make sure I was heading in the right direction..

I was thinking Propane over N20 as It'll help me get better Mileage, but just wanted to make sure.

TIA!

Do you have the water/meth installed yet? And if so did you notice any difference at all? I've heard it doesn't really do anything unless you are really built up and having EGT issues. Any input?

Depending on what you want is where you make your decision. N2O will give you more power while pane will give you economy with a little leftover power. Not so big on water/meth kits so can't tell ya bout that.

Re: Water/Meth, Propane, N20, which one(s)

Water Meth Is going to give you a gain in power either way depending on how you mix it or if you mix it at all . most people run a 50/50 mix of water and meth the more meth you introduce the more power your going to get out of it. and yes its really good for getting those EGTS down. and its nice because when your running cooler you can use the power you have already a lot longer because egts are down. correct me if im wrong??

I hope to have the kit installed asap...but with work and all...we'll see.

I already spoke with Eric at ID for a new tune for the water/meth.

As soon as I get that setup, i'll go dyno it, old program no water...new program w/water/meth.

Re: Water/Meth, Propane, N20, which one(s)

I have been running the water/ math stage 3 set up for a while now and I have noticed a difference. Better mpg and way lower egt. With my truck fully loaded with gear and pulling a boat loaded from front to back, my egt is mph times 10 at 70mph egt is 700 at 80mph egt is 800 ect. climbing up steep grades at 60 to 70 mph i'm at 900 egt and if I punch it from at 40 to 50mph to get around slow traffic I hit 1100 to 1120 max for a second that’s seems good to me. As for mpg on that trip I average 15.5mpg way better then before. I ran about 1.5 gals of meth to 3.5 gals of water. When I’m not pulling I run water only and I’m getting 12 to 13mpg city and as many as 23.4 freeways if I don't drive crazy, (road conditions may have helped some). Freeway /city driving water I average 15 plus mpg generally that includes having fun and hammering the gas a little. Conceder every truck is different. I have charted my gas mileage from day one, I can say without hesitation it helps my truck.
