After extended use of the search feature...

I can't seem to find any answers why "Diesel Secret" is a bad idea. Not arguing for or against, just curious to know what the drawbacks are from somebone "in the know".

I have found numerous posts discounting it's validity/quality, etc. Have seen it referred to as "snake oil" on numerous occasions. All of this is likely true of course. Usually what sounds to good to be true is, but somebody please "break down the game film for me coach!"

Other than voiding your warranty, what are the cons?

Thanks for any info or related links.

Re: After extended use of the search feature...

There is an ongoing thread on biodiesel.infopop.cc concerning DieselSecret.

Basically it's WVO mixed with RUG (unleaded gasoline) and some 'secret sauce' to get it to run in your engine. I have noticed xylene, tolulene and naptha in the formula, not really too friendly for the environment.
