anybody in southeast Va making bio

I've been reading on this forum for a couple of weeks and finally my curiosity got the best of me. I haven't made my first test batch yet, but will very soon (Dr. Pepper method). Is anyone around the Franklin Virginia area making homebrew biodiesel. As soon as I get comfortable with titrations I plan to build a processor. I have a couple of questions;
1) will biodiesel damage the injectors in the powerstroke.
2) can you use biodiesel in place of home heating oil, how about in kerosene heaters?
sorry for the long post.

Re: anybody in southeast Va making bio

I've ran commercial biodiesel in my superduty for 3 years B-20 a couple of times B100. Check my sig for mileage. Now 100% WVO.

I've ran B20 quite a few times in my 6.0 and also have run blends of 50% WVO (unheated but high outside ambient temps) in my Excursion. Time will soon be 100%.

When I first started SVO/WVO, I collected enough oil to put the tote on a trailer; I ran down to Dallas from Detroit and drove both of my powerstrokes back on fryer oil.

Actually runs better.
