I'm considering exchanging my spare tire for a mid 80's Bronco AFT axle tank. I saw someone did that somewhere, but can't remember. This would be my primary Veggi tank with some modification. What do you all think?

A few people on the 6.9l board have talked about it, although I'm not sure if anyone's actually done it yet.
If using a used tank, you'd need to make sure that it wasn't made out of galvanized steel and would need to make sure it was cleaned out. Other than that and the matter of mounting it on a SuperDuty frame, I don't see why it wouldn't work...
There are few up in the 94-97 board who have done it.The only one I can think of who did a write up about it is DzlJim HERE is a link to it.
But you have both body styles and can compare them side by side, is it feasable to put a rear tank from a 97 in place of the spare on a 99?
