anyone running WVO in a 97 Powerstroke?

My truck is a stock 97 F350 with 145,000 miles and I have installed a Frybrid kit and it works great. The mechanical fuel pump was the original pump and a leak started about a month or so after I started running on VO. It was still the original pump and with the miles my truck has, a leaking pump I figured was nothing unusual. I purchased a new Carter pump, got it installed and all was fine for about another month or so, now I have a leak again. I'm not 100% certain that it is leaking from the pump, so I've pulled the modified filter housing and have checked/sealed all possible sources of leaks there. I will have that back in today and will see if there is any further problems. I still suspect that it may be the pump though. I was under the impression that these mechanical pumps can handle the heated VO, but maybe they can't.
Is anyone running VO through this type of pump?
If the leak persists and it is the pump, I can get a good deal on a new Fass pump, but I have no idea how to hook it to replace the stock pump. The pump operates at 80 PSI , but can be adjusted by changing some internal springs.

I've been running WVO for 2-1/2 years in mine with the stock fuel pump. My pumps last for about a year before they start leaking. They come with a one year warranty and before the year is up I return it as defective and get another one then I change it myself. The counter guy (not Ford parts) will never know what fuel has been run through it because I completely purge fuels. There is no way I'm paying a mechanic 5 hours labor for something I can do myself and getting a FASS never entered my mind.

Check out the Veggiestroke manual that they have online. They go over how to modify the filter housing and how to replace the mechanical pump with a FASS.
