Awesome parts cleaner!!

I just loaded my parts washer with 5 gallons of B100 and cleaned my bulldozer final drive components. What a great cleaner! Doesn't smell or eat your hands! Works fast too.

Re: Awesome parts cleaner!!

That's great news. I've been wanting to play with some. Biodiesel (also known as Methyl Soyate) has a bit more solvent power than D-Limonene... the orange peel solvent. Its significantly more powerful than regular mineral spirits but with MUCH greater safety due to the high flashpoint.

Re: Awesome parts cleaner!!

I just bought a new parts washer from Harbor Freight and was wondering if pure biodiesel would work in it.

I wonder if there is any real rubber involved that will deteriorate while in contact with B-100.

Is there any rubber hoses, seals or o rings in you washer?
