bio compatible fuel hose?

Do any of you know if the chain auto store (NAPA, Autozone,Advanced Auto) fuel hose is bio compatible? I have to drop the tank and I thought it was out I would get rid of the quick disconnect fuel hose.

Thanks Kevin

Yes, ask for Fuel Injection Hose aka SAE J30R9 fuel hose. It will cost about $4/ft. vs. $1/ft. for SAE J30R7 fuel hose which is not compatible with biodiesel. You'll need about 6-7 feet from the tank to your pump inlet.

Good idea to eliminate the quick disconnects on the pre-pump/vacuum side of the pump.

Thought about adding a pre-pump filter or doing the Harpoon and Hutch mod while you've got the tank down?

Good luck.

Al

Check at different auto parts stores. I found a pretty sizeable difference in price on the same rating of hose. It adds up pretty quickly.
