Re: Bio-Diesel In Maryland

I'm in Martinsburg, WV. Not real close but if you get out my way shout and I'll show off the processor. Been running B100 in the jetta since August and now running about b60 in the F250. 5-20% mix in a fleet of dirt movin toys to save the pumps/injectors from ULSD. No problem so far.

Re: Bio-Diesel In Maryland

There are a bunch of people in the Annapolis area making it. And in large amounts from what I understand. The methanol dealer in Baltimore says someone is making BD in 2-300 gal batches.

Check the VW board TDIclub.com. Try Jesse, username "McBrew" he's in Annapolis

Re: Bio-Diesel In Maryland

I am located in Pasadena, Maryland and would be more than happy to help in any way. Feel free to call me 410-437-5753. I have been making biodiesel for about 2 years now. I run a 2006 Dodge 2500 and a 2002 Ford F250 on bio and heat my house. I just purchased a Perkins diesel 27.5KW generator that I am going to run on biodiesel to make an off grid system.

Re: Bio-Diesel In Maryland

I am in Ellicott City and am also interested. Perhaps we should meet somewhere (bar/restaurant) and discuss sometime.
