Re: BIO locations in Nor Cal?

I don't see Sacremento or Stockton on this list here:

Biodiesel.org pump finder

But I don't know my CA geography very well, so maybe you can tell better how close by any of those are to you.

Re: BIO locations in Nor Cal?

No pump locations I could find as of 2 months ago. Golden Gate Petroleum may deliver 55gal drums to your area tho. If you get down to San Jose, Western States on South 10th St has B99 at the pump. Also some around Oakland/Berkeley

Re: BIO locations in Nor Cal?

one thing to add...

through sacbiofuels you can have a 275 gallon tote of biodiesel deliverered to you home. They do this as a sort of biodiesel cooperative. You get 3-5 people or so together and get a tote delivered to a "filling station", usualy someone's garage. I think the fuel comes from a plant in Yukia, CA

Re: BIO locations in Nor Cal?

The man to contact is Steve Bash, he can be reached at steve@theinfoexchange.org . He usually gets back to you in a couple days, very helpful guy. Tell him Scott Fonte shot you his way. More info can be found at http://www.sacbiofuels.blogspot.com/

Also, my girlfriend and I are going to be moving to Seattle in the spring and have some saving to do. As I currently have access to a sh%#load of WVO I am contemplating stepping up my biodiesel production to 300-400 gallons/month throughout the winter, starting in September. Would anyone be interested in purchasing homebrewed biodiesel "fuel additive" or WVO filtered to 5 microns and dewatered? I'm still toying with this right now. Any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated.
