Bio ok for highly modded truck?

We finally got a local bio fuel pump in my area and have considered running it after reading many posts of how well it cleans and lubricates. I've read that it's ok on slightly modified trucks, but what about those of us who have highly modified trucks? Would we still see a big cloud of black smoke when we got on it? Is bio a way to lengthen the longevity of these motors? I'm sure this all might've been discussed before, but after pages and posts of reading I got tired of searching for the answers.

Re: Bio ok for highly modded truck?

I think BD is even a better idea for modded trucks. OVerfueling with diesel blackens the oil and creats carbon buildup.

There is some guy with an 800 hp duramax on TDP than runs bd.

I cannot think of any downfalls.

I run b80+ and a big chip.

Re: Bio ok for highly modded truck?

Yes should be o.k, the reason I say that is because of what manny said as well as the fact that if you think about it it should lubricate better and should have less wear on engine

Re: Bio ok for highly modded truck?

I run B100 in my truck. It runs exceptionally well with it and I do not notice a difference in power. No black smoke anymore.
