I've mixed 20 gal of pump fuel + 20 gal BD + 7 gal K-1 + 24 oz Power service. and still have fall out @ about 10-15*F. After I read the Power service it says good for up to B20
If I double the amount will that help?

The anti-gels work only on the petrol portion of the mix. There is no reliable bio anti gel available (that I am aware of). There are several in use overseas, but the EPA will not let them be sold in this country.

Hey Guys! I am a part of a company that is called Power Curve Inc. Been with them for over 2 years and they have some great products, including anti-gel Diesel Booster with a High Pressure Lubricant included along with the more than what is usually out there. I can answer all question if you'd like. Just put www in front of our name with the . com afterwards and go check it out. It really would be worth your while. I am going to try and get ahold of who I need to to get on as a vendor as well.
Powerservice is good to blends up to B20 I was hoping to blend higher.
Thanks to all for the onfo, and Merry Christmas to everyone.
Kevin

kevin, i have used the diesel kleen in mixes of 70/30 bio /#2 and 50/50 ... did testing of both in the freezer temp was 5 degrees left it in there 3 days plus and both were still liquid... of course it didnt look as clear as a sunny day at 80 degrees but it was still liquid
To date there are no additives that work on bio diesel. All the additives work on the petro portion of the mix - hence the limits to B20 and less.
Purdue University has a process they are testing in Alaska that is supposed to be good to -67°C (I would be happy with -67°F). I am sure it is aimed at the large producers and probably will not be priced or available for the small producer.
Too bad because I know a lot of farmer's who would consider bio diesel if we could get past the cold gelling issues.

Since most of you are talking about the bio diesel mixtures, then y'all should know that the diesel fuels are already set to a certain temp, already for colder weather, depending on the mixture, (the distributor and the oil companies), and the type of bio fuels. I know our anti-gel formula for are diesel booster covers anything that the diesel fuel is set to, minus 30 degrees more. So if you have a mixture of fuel that is set at minus 30, with our mixture, we can take it down to another minus 30 degrees as well. It just depends on the type of fuel that you are using. Just remember though, that our products is a complete drive train and a diesel treatment system. MOst of all, we treat the metals, not the fluids, with the exception of our diesl booster, which has are high pressure lubricant in it. You do not need to buy several products with our treatment system guys. Hope everyone has had a great new year so far, been busy down here in Houston, and am finally getting some time away from hard work in construction field and am able to get things back into gear with my other company. Let me know if ya have any questions.
First biodiesel dose not gell like diesel . When diesel frezzes its no good as a fuel you must get it out of your tank and system . Biodiesel will have F.F.A.s (free fatty acids) that normally are not a problem seperate looking like white specks in the biodiesel and all it will do is plug your filter . You can frezze biodiesel to a solid then worm it up and use it . The main thing is when making your biodiesel is filter it properly . I filter mine to 1 micron . I drive my trucks and cars on B100 year round down as low as -10 C with no anti gell . Comercial biodiesel is not as good at cold temps. because they don't filter as much as I do for example .
