Biodiesel/SVO PSD '95 Van...!
Cool. Well, I can finally post here! I just picked up a '95 Ford E350 7.3 PSD Van. Is anyone here running there vans on biodiesel or svo? I'm going to be driving this sucker to Portland in a month. I'm going to be in Portland for at least the next year - and while I'm there I plan on running biodiesel and, if I have the time to do the setup, svo (preferably wvo).
So... does anyone have any recommendations or know of any biodiesel co-ops in Portland? I'd really like to drive across the country on biodiesel, but I'm in a hurry of a drive so I probably won't be able to find biodiesel stops all over my route - so better safe to run on dino and then, once in Portland, start running biodiesel and changing my filters.
So...anyhow, I can't wait to run this sucker on biodiesel! I've been waiting for 5 years to do this!
Oh yeah - and does anyone running a 7.3 PSD on biodiesel have any recommendations as to performance or maintenance adjustments/tweeks I should do to my van?
