Bluegrass fuel system info

i have the bluegrass fuel system already. i bought it last may and have put over 5000 miles on my truck through it.

my question for you is have you tried it?

after listening to you all i think i could build a system much cheaper. i am looking for someone who has used it for years or way more miles than me to warn me or encourage me.

Be Blessed all

i have been running a 50/50 mix of waste motor oil and #2 diesel. i am about to switch to a w85 mix. i like the bluegrass system. i will continue to use it for the 1 micron filter for sure.
what are you mixing?

if you don't have it don't waste the money on it. there are cheaper ways.

i have thought about putting them in straight water to see how much it picks up. i know to clean them you are supposed to pull them out of the container and lay them in the sun to dry them out.

spend the money on a centrifuge instead. it takes the water and the junk out and they cost a lot. so spend your money there, in my opinion.

For the same amount of money spend on thier system you can get a centrifuge for less and get better result. The one I am using came with a heater to eliminate the water as the is being clean. I am using PAbio system.

I built my own version of the bluegrass system.... saved a ton of money...

I actually built a filtering unit to filter my oil before it goes into my 25 gallon tank... I then throw my magic sack and add 50% #2... I run 50/50 using w85...

I treat a 55 gallon drum with gas and power service and let it sit for 2 weeks until I'm ready... I fill my 25 gallon poly tank with about 12 gallons in the morning and let it sit in the tank all day while I'm at work.. on my way home I stop and top it off with fresh #2... drive to the house and pump it into my tank the next morning works great and cost me about $250
