Couple of easy questions

I just ordered Mark's book. I have been interested in this for some time. I'm pretty sure Mark's book will answer alot of these questions, but I'm really curious.

What's the difference between straight vegetable oil and waste vegatable oil in terms of why do some feel comfortable running one, but not the other?

It is my understanding that WVO Biodiesel contains some things that aren't good and doesn't contain some things that it should need...It's my understanding that this is controversial, but what are they?

What are the bi-products of the appleseed reactor?

Can these bi-products be used for anything?

What do you do with a "bad batch" of biodiesel?

What are some of the different types of reactors everyone here is running?

Do most people on this sight support the theories and practices of Mark?

Do some people have alternative/enhanced methods other than those Mark practices?

If this information is readily available somewhere I'd sure appreciate a link. It just seems like alot of this information is scattered and tough to find.

Thanks much for any help,

Paul

WVO is pretty much free. SVO will probably cost you more then the price at the pump unless your in the know.

Some say SVO contains more fatty molecules or something ??

Bi-products is glycerin. You can use it as a degreaser, or make your own soap, or sell it off to someone who makes soaps.

Yes everyone that I see on here definatly support girl_Mark's practices. That applies everywhere else. Journeytoforever can take a hike.

I run WVO, not Biodiesel, thats the only thing that differs with me personally. But that does not mean I don't support her practices, I encourage it.

As far as a bad batch, as said I don't do biodiesel so I couldn't tell ya. Perhaps throw it in a compost pile?

Check out this link for more in depth discussion.

I'd just sit back with a pot of coffee and read every single thread that exists.
