Cutting Diesel fuel

Ok y'all , everyone says I should ask over here so here I go. Can you cut diesel fuel with motor oil or used cooking oil? Any help wpuld be great.

I run 50/50 for now till winter don't know what I will do come that time.Been starting fine in the mornings at 48 out so we will see.Truck runs better on it too.I think I have more power and my theory is because my chips is detimed and the WVO burns slower I think which feels like it gives me more power. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]could be wrong but my own thoughts.

I pump half tank of diesel then fill the rest with filtered WVO.I filter down to 5 micron.

Smells like fried bread and french fries.

i'm new and just want to clarify. so if i can get some WVO (which i think i can), and filter it to the specs. that i have read on here i can mix it 50/50 with diesel? just trying to find a way to cut costs on fuel since i drive alot.....thanks in advance for the info....
