Here in North Jersey I have noticed Deisel selling between 5-10 cents less per gallon than Premium fuel.Prior to last week it was running 10 cents more per gallon on the average.Although this is the way it should be,I was wondering if anyone could explain the reason for this adjustment.

IMHO diesel seems to more closely follows the home heating oil price curve, and is almost always more expensive than super gasoline in the winter and often cheaper than regular gasoline in the summer. Just my $0.02.

California is NUTS, diesel, just like everything else in CA, is highest at 2.99!!! Thinking 'bout moving to CA ~ think twice. I don't know how the independent truckers are making it. At least I get better mileage than my old '94 Silverado gashog. Be driving a diesel when I'm 95, God willin' and the prices don't rise. Doin' a year's worth of homework before deciding to go bio. Meanwhile thank goodness my Safeway discount card knocks 6c of per gal.

Here in South texas I paid $2.53, $2.64 over the last couple of days.
Combine that with 30% filtered veggie oil and I am travelling around on $1.85 or so fuel!!!!!
