dirty injectors??

just before winter came I was running 20% wvo with #2. It ran great. Then a cold snap came and i had to plug it in just to get it to start. Now that I am not blending wvo, it is hard to start and runs rough until the cylinder temps come up. I am assuming that the injectors are coked up. Is there anything I can run through it to clean them out, can I pull them and clean the tip of the nozzle or is it send out for ultrasonic clean? Please help!! Thanks>

You can try diesel purge. You run 2 cans of it and at 100%. So a search on diesel purge at www.greasecar.com. good luck!

Sounds like you have the classic symptoms for bad glow plugs or a bad glow plug relay. To check the relay, before you start it in the morning, take a screwdriver or something heavy and short across the two large post on your relay for about 15 seconds or so and remove the screwdriver. If it starts and runs ok it is bad. If not you probably have some bad plugs. You can check them also if you need to.

Thanks for the info on the Diesel purge. I just ordered some. The glow plugs are working just fine. 8 seconds on cold start. 5 on warm start just like clock work. Thanks again.
