Does anyone sell kits for getting started?

I’m sure this has been asked before but I am new to this sight and to being a diesel owner! I was wondering if there is a kit out their for getting started or at least a step by step instruction manual for the do it yourselfers who would really like to get into this biodiesel thing. With fuel prices projected to be $4 per. gallon in the near future I don’t understand why anyone would not want to do this! Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Does anyone sell kits for getting started?

Welcome to the forum!

Step 1: Buy The Book.
Step 2: Read from cover to cover.
Step 3: Repeat step 2.

At that point you will have very few questions.

Thanks,

J.R.

Research! Research! Research!!

First are you looking into making Bio-diesel or buring Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO) ??? There is a difference.

Look into buying Girl Marks Book if you are going into Bio. If your wanting to run veg oil thru you PSD look at www.vegistroke.com at Fordnut74 kit. Best kit for your PSD.

Re: Does anyone sell kits for getting started?

I think bio-diesel is the way I am leaning but I am open to alternate suggestions . Like I said before I am new to all this so I am just starting to look into it. Thanks for the input and keep it coming !

Re: Does anyone sell kits for getting started?

thank you guys for the plug.

Here's some other info I'm involved with:
www.biodieselcommunity.org

Also, as far as kits go, take a look at www.b100supply.com . He sells some simple equipment similar to what a lot of us are using. He also has some GREAT articles at his site (some of them you have to be a customer to see, I think) which are one reason to support him as your kit vendor versus others.
