I wasn't trying to get ur undies in a twist I was only pointing out that these kits went up quite a bit when diesel went up, and ur right (not sure about WMO, that is still a heated debate ) WVO is becoming REALLY scarse. And I didn't say they were "getting rich" only that they were just one more company trying to make money on our "fuel crisis". I admit, they would be stupid not too... just like OPEC would be stupid to drop the price of crude back to affordiable levels, very dumb. But it would be decent, I see a trend of our dollar dropping, bringing the cost of goods up; and I just don't like it when I see that process unnecessarly sped up. I hope people do figure out how to burn WMO safely, screw bio-diesel, switch to propane, or hydrogen. The more options we have for fuel the less they will cost (how it SHOULD work anyway...). Anyway, I sensed u were a bit perturbed by my post, and I just wanted you to know that it wasn't a personal bash, just an observation.

Veg Rev

Hello,

This is William from Veg Rev. I'd like to respond to Jesse Olguin's accusations above as there are quite a few missing pieces to his story.

Jesse contacted me with a request to install a Golden Fuels system. I spent many hours emailing and talking on the phone with Jesse explaining why VegiStroke was a far superior system, problems of polymerization, and other general veg fuel related information I have gathered over the course of the past 5 years we've been doing conversions. I told him that we charge $1000 to install the standard VegiStroke kit. When he brought the vehicle in it turned out that he wanted a tank mounted up under the vehicle and a remote fill in one of a few possible locations. This is a bit more work than the standard VegiStroke install and so I told him that it would cost a little more to do the install. He also wanted us to mount 3 or 4 gauges (unrelated to the veg fuel system) along with their sending units, electrical etc. As Jesse has stated, I adjusted the price accordingly. Apparently my quote was reasonable as Jesse stated above, "Shane had to put more work into this project than he received compensation for." Jesse was looking for someone who didn't have the expertise to know the value of the work involved so that he could get the work done at their expense.

So after many hours helping Jesse select a kit and hooking him up with our tank maker (who was confused when Jesse insisted on paying him directly as he is subcontracted through us and never receives payment directly from our customers, clearly Jesse knew that he was knowingly undercutting us) and giving him a reasonable quote, he took our advice and help and got some poor guy to commit to doing the work for him for less than it was worth.

No one is getting rich doing veggie oil conversions. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and that is really our reward. The veg fuel community has overwhelming been a great group of honest, hardworking, interesting people. It's always a shame to see someone come into the community looking to take advantage of someone else.

Grease,
William

Wow... apparently everyone around william is an incompetant stooge, its a wonder you haven't taken over the world. "Your" tank maker Brian is a brilliant fabricator, and even though his sole income relies on the scraps you feed him he manages to get by. As far as Shane from Rover Hybrids, that man has forgotten more about diesel mechanics and vegi conversion than most people learn in a lifetime. Face it man, you are a crap buisness man, you came off as shady and unreliable. Instead of getting upset, maybe you should look at what the CUSTOMER found wrong with your buisness practices and adjust accordinly ...or don't, either way the way you deal with people is up to you, I was completely satisfied with the service I recieved, and have since refered several people to that man. Customer satisfaction is commencerate with high referal rates, good luck with your future endeavors.

Jesse

I sent PM replies to those with questions on my conversion with my stock tank and the frybrid regulated return. I have not been on the site in awhile.

RIP Brian Gharst

My dear friend Brian Gharst, the custom tank fabricator referenced on this thread, tragically passed away on June 11, 2009, after a canoe accident in the San Juan Islands. His friends and family appreciate your kind words about the solid work he did.
