final inline filter after the fphe - wvo system

I see a lot of different talk on other forums about guys who run a final mesh type inline filter after all heat sources to catch any "chiken skin" or flakes that may form. Currently I don't have one, should I put one in? I'd put it in after the fphe. Probably like a 100micron.

When dealing with WVO, the words "final" and "100 micron" don't belong in the same sentence.

A 100 micron filter is probably good for catching big particles and dead critters, but the final filter should be down in the 2-5 micron range, IMO.

Good luck.

I have a 5 micron filter in system already, but it's before my fphe, like most peoples. I have heard people say in other forums that they use one of those small clear inline mesh filters after the fphe to catch anything that might flake off, but those filters don't look like they can handle the 70psi & 180degrees that my fuel will be at at that point.
