first tank of b20

I just found b20 available so filled her up and I have to say wow. I may be crazy, but my 94 stroke runs noticeably quieter and a little smoother on it. At first, I thought that it was just me wanting to see things that are not there, but I pulled the horses last night for a trail ride with my wife and she noticed it right away and she is not one to know or care about such things as she has no desire to work on or hear about trucks as long as they run Is this because of added lubricity? Anyone else notice same thing on early strokes? I am tickled pink

Our '97 behaves the same way - quieter and smoother than ever, on B20 or higher.

I don't have an early 'stroke, but I noticed the same thing with my first fill. About two miles from the station, the engine just quieted down. There are a couple of things that can cause this. Lubricity is certainly one of them. Well-lubed injectors are quieter injectors. Depending on what fuel you were running previously, the B-20 may well have a higher cetane rating. Higher cetane can also quiet down and engine (as well as improving cold start performance). I run B-20 whenever I can now, but there is not a station reasonably close to me that carries it. If I happen to be in the neighborhood of a biodiesel station, I fill up.
