Well after some research and encouragement, I've started my new truck on B99 from a local reseller. Runs beautifully and smells much nicer. Thanks for the info you all have contributed.
Have an extra fuel filter with you at all times. B99 will bring up the mineral deposits from your tank and clog the filter. After a few filter changes you'll be clean as a whistle. Keep an eye on the two fuel return lines from the FPR to each head. You may have plastic split loom around the hoses. Many including myself have had bioD melt down on those hoses after months of B99 use.

Roger that fuel filter, but could you break down the process by which I would "keep an eye on the two fuel return lines from the FPR to each head to see if I have a plastic split loom around the hoses"? I'm guessing that stands for "fuel pressure regulator" or some such? This is my first diesel which I've had for all of two weeks and I haven't yet got my Chilton's for it :-) This is going to be an adventure.
The two rubber lines that go from the Fuel Pressure regulator to the front of the heads. Mine lasted about 2 years on B100.
If you touch them and they leave a black goo on your finger, change em.
I had a hydraulic shop make some new ones out of Parker Hose low permeation hose, well see how long they last. The replacement custom made ones were only about 25 bucks.
I have over 40k on B100 on my 97.
I changed the o rings in the F.P.R. last year, no problems just had the bowl out to repair fuel heater and did it at that time.
The transfer tank I have (110 gal) has a heated filter on it as well.

Thanks for the heads up guys - Even with the probability of some fuel system related annoyances down the road, I'd say that rolling down the road on $3.10/galon biodiesel still beats all hell out of $10.00\gallon dinodiesel (http://awakeatthewheel.net/2007/06/0...over-10gallon/)
Dr. Dan's in Ballard has biodiesel for about that price. Also the Issaquah Grange has biodiesel 'round that price.
I make my own, but will sometimes buy it from the pump to supplement my supply.
American Hose and Fittings in Kent will have the replacement Parker hose for biodiesel use. I bought 20' of that stuff for $1.20 a foot. Give them a call and they can deliver it to you.

I get mine at Laurelhurst Oil in U-Village. Don't forget to mix in the winter. I was in Yakima with probably a B75 mixture last winter and the truck barely ran until I through some petro diesel in it.
