Re: First timer Bio dieseler

Start by finding a local bio retailer. There's alot of them out there, but you just need to look. Not much more than that to running Bio in your PSD...

Re: First timer Bio dieseler

Also some friends of mine own a greasy spoon restauraunt next door. They will give me all or some of their oil if I want it. Is it possibble to experiment with biodiesel on a small scale. Plus I am worried about doing something wrong and killing the truck. If it works good maybe ill go back to dads ranch and start producing mass scale for myself and friends! Re: First timer Bio dieseler

Yes you can make one liter test batches.

It's called the "Dr. Pepper Method". If its used oil, you will have to do a titration to see how much extra lye you need to add.

www.biodieselcommunity.org has all the instructions you need.
