Fittings!

This is aggravating.
I finally got my new/second tank filter and filter base.
But it didn't come with the nipples!

I've tried auto parts stores and hardware stores without luck.
The threads are 1/2 inch and need to go to a 3/8 inch barb.
Where the heck do you find these things without ordering online?

I've tried a True Value and a Lowes.
Closest I came was one made of plastic, not going there!
I did find a 3/8 thread to 3/8 barb that could be used with a reducer but who wants more chances for leaks.

I'll try an Ace if I can find one.

Home Depot usually has a decent selection of brass fittings. If not, McMaster-Carr is the best place to order that kind of thing online.

You do not say where you are from. If you do a google search for (name of your city) +"parker hannifin" you should find the nearest Parker Hannifin store to you. If there is not one close look for a hose and fitting store, a hydraulic shop, an agricultural or heavy equipment dealer nearby. Any should be able to set you up.
